PLOT: A young photographer (Claudio) goes to the local forest like any other trip. But what he doesn’t know turns out to haunt him. Slender Man (Adeel Fareed) finds his next target and disrupts his imagination via his pictures. He doesn’t know whats real anymore. As he realises he wasn’t the only one who has seen Slender Man he tries to find out more. What happens victims seems to be unknown.

Shutter, which was inspired by the original Slender Man video game, has been seen to be one of the most iconic images in thriller and horror combined: A folklore figure, as a tall man with a white face with absolute zero facial features. He is depicted by people and abducts countless young innocents. Slender Man played by Adeel Fareed, the directors gave him the opportunity to star in his very first hit movie. Even though we don’t get to see the real Adeel we see ‘The Slender Man’. This film served as great entertainment with its plot twists and disturbing characters. James used character’s that are familiar all around as well as introducing us to a new upcoming actor Adeel Fareed. So, in the spirit of movies keeping you on your toes, this review is being written with no revision or pause for a second thought – it’s a one hit of an opinion to say its likely to be the year’s most successful movie. Lets see how that works out. So, Claudio is back with his great acting skills, from waking up in the morning to getting chased by a faceless figure through a forest.  “It was the first time my actual face wasn’t in a movie it felt amazing, I could come to set looking ridiculous and get away with it” says Adeel at his interview with Review TV. Maybe its not always about the face and the genuine acting. Shutter has been a favourite for many celebrities due to its plot twist at the end and the demonic figure of slender man. Claudio is seen to be a young photographer who takes pictures as a living or hobby we aren’t so sure. When he sees something peculiar he starts to panic and leaves the forest. But he comes back. It would be stupid of him to come back AFTER seeing something so terrifying right? Would you go back? Being a short film and only having minimum characters some would see it to be quite boring, but it does all depends on your interests. From the producers of ‘Eventide’ this new freaky movie has really done well with short films out on the market. It’s disturbing, terrifying and keeps you on your toes. You don’t know what’s going to’ come out from a tree. When you are walking home through trees beware of that. Now not just the acting skills and story line that has interested the audience but in fact the camera man skills! Yes! Don’t you think the man behind the screen should get as much as credit. From zooming into Claudio’s face to hiding behind a tree. Really makes you feel like you’re in the movie. It can be seen in two perspectives. “It felt like I was the one chasing Claudio the rush was amazing” Jackie from London. “I felt like I was In Claudio’s shoes running away! Definitely worth watching” Adam from Birmingham. Shutter is a 2015 must watch!

THE VERDICT:

A video game into a successful short film filled with suspense and thrill. – Here comes the slender man.

5 STARS.
